Our Grandson, Hayden, graduated high school in May 2025. In September 2025 he will begin his career in professional soccer. Playing professional soccer has been Hayden’s dream since he was a little guy playing soccer in Africa, where he was born. September 2nd he will travel to Belo Horizonte, Brazil to join a team. This was recently arranged by Hayden’s agent who is from Brazil. His agent was a soccer coach a few years ago in Minneapolis and recognized Hayden as a skilled player. He has encouraged Hayden and now has arranged for him to join a Brazilian team.
Hayden will live in a team facility where he will be fed and watered, have a place to sleep, and a workout facility. I am guessing he will eat a lot of fast food. In this environment fast food means food that makes you run fast and dribble well.
We are excited to see him realize his career dream. I suppose we should be prepared to travel just in case he wants to fly us to Brazil sometime to watch him play and enjoy a Brazilian steakhouse restaurant. Blessings to Hayden and his parents as they enter into this new time of life. The first little bird is leaving the nest. And he will play the Winger position on the team.

I was going to go to Brazil earlier this year and couldn’t make it so maybe next year I’ll come so I can see you!
